SPA Site Engineer

Our site engineers play a critical part to successful deliver of our projects. You'll be managing the day-to-day quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals. You'll also be assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management.,

• Day to day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals.
• Supporting the Site Manager to liaise with the Engineering and Integration team to resolve conflicts and ensure work is carried out in line with specifications and drawings.
• Assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management, liaising with commercial, procurement and planning teams and supply chain management.
• Supporting the Site Manager in calling off materials, stock control etc. and liaising with procurement team to ensure orders are not exceeded without authority.
• Highlight any areas of concern before they become an issue.
• Do the right thing to ensure programme, quality and cost are delivered.
• Always explore alternatives to identify better ways of delivery the need.
• Look to minimise waste by ordering the required materials to optimise project performance.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK's most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Site Engineer to support and enhance our project delivery team., We are looking for engaged and passionate Site Engineer who:
• Can ideally demonstrate experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of work, preferably within the water sector.
• Can demonstrate experience of setting-out and recording 'as built' drawings.
• Have an understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques
• Hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Supervisors Card
• Have a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done.
