Full Job Description
Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and maintaining consistent standards across all dishes. Organise and complete daily preparation, including weighing, portioning and marinating ingredients for service. Prepare and cook a range of authentic Bangladeshi and Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, starters, rice dishes and accompaniments. Follow established recipes and cooking methods to maintain consistency in flavour, portion size and presentation. Assist in directing and supervising kitchen staff, allocating preparation and cooking duties to support smooth service during busy periods. Ensure all food is stored, prepared and handled in compliance with food hygiene, allergen and health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout preparation, cooking, storage and service areas to support efficient kitchen operations.
