- Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflow.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff, including Chef de Parties, promoting a positive and productive working environment.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and portion control.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Contribute to menu development, creation of daily specials, and costing.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
- Take charge of kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence, managing shifts and resolving any issues.

This pivotal role involves supporting the Head Chef in all kitchen operations, overseeing staff, maintaining exceptional food quality, and contributing to the development of our Italian menu., Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant setting. - Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a kitchen team effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- Current food hygiene certification and a thorough understanding of HACCP.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
