Sous Chef - Bart & Taylor - London

As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen, maintain exceptional standards, and ensure every service runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service
• Helping to train, coach, and develop junior chefs
• Assisting with menu development using fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Managing stock, ordering, and helping to minimise waste
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation are always maintained
• Stepping up to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
  
  We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to progress, with:
• A passion for fresh, seasonal food and quality ingredients
• Strong leadership skills and a positive, hands-on approach
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen
• Good knowledge of food safety, stock control, and kitchen operations
• A commitment to developing others and working as part of a close-knit team
• High standards, attention to detail, and pride in every plate that leaves the pass
