Sous Chef

We're looking for an ambitious Senior Sous Chef with a strong contract-catering background to join a large London staff-dining operation. The focus is on delivering fresh, creative and consistently good food at volume, with well-dressed plates and strong attention to presentation. Alongside the daily staff-dining offer, you'll support a varied hospitality and events calendar featuring canapés, bowl food and larger functions. You'll join at an exciting stage, helping to build and develop a brand-new kitchen team. This is an ideal opportunity for a Sous Chef who wants to grow into a future Head Chef position, take on more responsibility and play an important part in shaping the operation. What you'll be doing

• Helping lead the kitchen and daily staff-dining service
• Building, training and developing a new kitchen team
• Supporting hospitality and events delivery
• Bringing fresh ideas and energy to the food offer
• Maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation
• Managing food safety, hygiene and allergen standards
• Supporting costings, stock control and occasional administration
• Helping drive the commercial performance of the kitchen
  
  Strong staff-dining experience is essential, alongside a solid background in contract catering. You'll be an experienced Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef who is comfortable delivering food at volume and leading a busy kitchen team.
You'll be hands-on, commercially minded and confident developing others. You'll also bring creativity, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to progress into a Head Chef role as the operation grows. If you're ready to build something new and take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
