Sous Chef

As Sous Chef, you'll be number two in the kitchen, supporting your Head Chef lead the team and deputising for the Head Chef as needed. You'll help develop a brilliant team and work closely with your Head Chef and General Manager to make your restaurant a success. From delivering consistently great food and maintaining excellent kitchen standards to supporting with stock, waste and costs, you'll help make sure your kitchen performs at its best - while creating a place where your team enjoys coming to work. What you'll bring Kitchen leadership - Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef looking to step up in a busy, fast-paced kitchen. Commercial know-how - You understand stock, waste, labour and kitchen costs and know how to support an efficient operation. Great standards - You care about food quality, consistency, cleanliness and food safety/HACCP. People skills - You're a positive, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching people and building a strong kitchen team. £13.91-£14.94 per hour, plus tronc. Work that works for you You'll support your Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and with the kitchen rota.
