Sous chef

This is a Sous Chef role at Aria Healthcare's Brook House Care Home in Towcester, Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents using the best ingredients available. The role involves leading by example and showcasing high-level hospitality skills, with a focus on supporting the Head Chef and mentoring the team., As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in preparing and cooking meals for the residents of the 53-bed Residential and Dementia Care Home. You will need to have a passion for creating fresh, high-quality meals and the ability to work well in a team. The role involves working 38 hours per week, including every other weekend, with shift times from 8am to 6pm. • Candidates should have experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a proven track record of creating high-quality meals. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team. Experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
