Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Solutions Consultant, who will support the Sales and Pre-Sales process by helping to sell a range of technical solutions and contributing to their design and delivery.
Your time will be roughly split between:
70% Technical Pre-Sales
30% Solution Design & Delivery
You will engage directly with customers to identify technical requirements, design viable solutions, and sometimes assist in implementation. This is a hands-on role, where you'll influence projects from initial concept to deployment.
Provide Pre-Sales technical support for a wide array of technologies.
Lead technical solution design discussions with prospective customers.
Recommend solutions that best match customer requirements.
Differentiate Converge solutions from competitors on both technical and commercial grounds.
Stay current with industry trends and continuously develop expertise.
Main Responsibilities
Create Statements of Work (SoW), Bills of Material (BoM), and estimate implementation timeframes.
Attend customer meetings and contribute to proposal writing and bid responses.
Translate business needs into viable technical solutions.
Work with internal teams to align solutions with available products/services.
Provide internal and external training and workshops.
Support implementation by collaborating with project teams and providing documentation.
Conduct network surveys, audits, and post-sales support as needed.
Follow internal systems, processes, and safety protocols.
Measures of Performance
Achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Specific objectives to be defined within 4-6 weeks of start date

Desired Qualifications
Microsoft, Cisco, HP, VMware certifications.
Essential Experience
3+ years in customer-facing Pre-Sales, Solution Design, or Implementation
Server virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
Windows Server OS (2003-2025), Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS)
Backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, cloud backup)
Hyperconverged platform experience
LAN/Wi-Fi solution design and implementation
Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
Networking: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba
OS deployment solutions: MDT, WDS, SCCM/MECM, Intune
Leading technical implementations
Customer requirements scoping & estimation
Desired Experience
Solutions for the education sector (schools, colleges)
Cisco Meraki design & configuration
Proof-of-concept development
Consultative technical sales skills
Sales cycle familiarity
Experience with IT resellers or MSPs
Low Level Design (LLD) documentation
Network design best practices
Microsoft 365 hybrid email, EMS suite
