Senior Solicitor (property)
You are a qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate and SRA number. You will work part-time hours ranging from 26 to 32 hours per week, allowing for increased hourly rates. You possess strong advisory skills and are eager to mentor junior team members. You are flexible in your approach and can work independently while managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
This role involves providing legal advice and handling transactional work related to commercial property, open spaces, community assets, and housing matters. You will draft legal implications for committee reports and support junior team members. Your responsibilities include carrying a caseload, instructing Counsel when needed, managing relationships with external legal advisors, and actively contributing to service improvements. You must work in the office at Addlestone twice a week, including the monthly team meeting on a Tuesday, while maintaining flexible attendance in consultation with the Interim Deputy Corporate Head of Law and Governance.
