Location: Galway, Ireland (Hybrid - 1 week onsite per month)
Rate: €480 per day
Contract: Initial 12-Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a high-performing Enterprise API Platform team based in Galway. This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern cloud technologies, collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams, and help build innovative, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a diverse and highly motivated technology team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The team combines strong technical expertise with a passion for exploring emerging technologies while working in an open and transparent culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full stack applications
- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Golang
- Build responsive UI applications using Angular or React
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Work with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory
- Support and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based deployments and environments
- Configure monitoring, alerting, and highly available platform solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with: Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, Golang
- Frontend development experience with Angular or React
- Hands-on experience with: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory
- Experience deploying applications to AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of cloud-native development practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
