Full Job Description
Ford Credit is building the financial infrastructure behind Ford's electric future in Europe - and we're looking for a talented frontend engineer to help us do it. You'll be a core contributor in a team building customer-facing products used by millions of people across Europe. That means writing excellent code, actively contributing to technical discussions, and playing a key role in how we deliver great software. This is a hands-on engineering role where your technical craft is front and centre. You'll work closely alongside a Lead Engineer, taking real ownership of features and helping to shape how the team builds - while continuing to grow your own skills in a supportive environment.
Essential4+ years of frontend engineering experience with strong hands-on frontend skillsSolid understanding of component design, state management, and building performant UIsGood grasp of testing practices, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or similarComfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and modern frontend toolingClear communicator who can articulate technical ideas to both engineers and non-technical teammatesCuriosity, a growth mindset, and a genuine care for code quality Nice to haveCloud experience, GCP preferredFamiliarity with other technologies (Java / Spring Boot) to collaborate effectively across the stackExperience in regulated industries, fintech, banking, or similarExposure to security and quality tooling, SonarQube, Checkmarx, FOSSA Additional Information:This is a UK position and applications will only be accepted from current UK permanent employees (FCE employees only).The Company is committed to diversity and equality of opportunity for all and is opposed to any
