Location: MiltonKeynes & Home Based (flexible) Salary: £35,000 - £47,000 - depending on experience, superb career and technical progression available, Bonus Scheme, Pension, Private Medical Insurance, 25 days holiday, sports and social club and subsidised canteen. Duties and Responsibilities of the Software Engineer The role will require the ideal candidate to write software for microcontrollers, test software and create documentation, provide technical support to the company's European subsidiaries and customers, analyze data, design, implement and deliver training courses and presentation to European subsidiaries. Experience / Qualifications required - Software Engineer: You will have a degree BSc, BEng or MEng, MSc in Electronics / Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Science / Instrumentation and Control or similar and you will have experience in some of the following:

• Writing software in C for microcontrollers
• Writing applications in C#, C++, VB, python, etc
• Writing Docker applications for factory automation
• Factory Automation Cloud Computing and Industrial Internet of Things
Essential requirements for the Software Engineer role:
• Ability to plan and manage own projects
• Experience of writing technical reports and software documentation.
• To work as part of a multicultural team who deliver results by consensus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• To be able to manage a dynamic workload and have a flexible approach to the role
• To be resilient - in order to reassess when your first idea doesn't work
• Passport and Driving licenses required, as there will be some UK and European travel in the role.
