About the RoleWere looking for a pragmatic Software Business Analyst to support multiple software and systems projects across a growing SME. Youll sit between business operations and technical delivery turning real business needs into clear, workable solutions without over engineering.
Key ResponsibilitiesGather, document, and validate business requirementsTranslate needs into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteriaFacilitate workshops with internal SMEs and manage expectations across teamsIdentify process improvements and automation opportunitiesSupport backlog creation, prioritisation, and UATAdvise on system architecture, integrations, and data flowsWork with external dev teams to ensure delivery aligns with requirementsProduce clear documentation: process flows, diagrams, decision logsTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of software delivery (Agile or hybrid)Office 365 user administrationAzure Entra / Active Directory familiaritySQL Server basics (queries, data management)Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)What You BringExperience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solutions AnalystAbility to work across multiple projects in a fast moving SMEExcellent communication and stakeholder managementComfortable
