Full Job Description
You will be:
- based within a small team of between seven and eight social workers.
- holding and managing a workload of children and young people and prioritising all work
- undertaking direct work with children and their families and their carers which provides high support and high challenge and aims to support families to find solutions to their own challenges.
- providing high quality and timely assessments and reports in the agreed format for Court's, Child Protection Case Conferences, Statutory Reviews and any other forum
- maintaining client records.
be a Qualified Social Worker with post qualification experience working directly with children and families and be committed to supporting children to remain with their families. - be registered with Social Work England.
- have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, families and other professionals.
- be a team player.
- have the ability to engage and communicate with disabled children and be committed to ensuring the children on your case load receive the best quality service.
