Job Title: Social Worker - Positive Futures Team Specialism: Children's Services Location: Swindon, UK Salary: Up to £42.00 Per Hour (Umbrella) Type: Temporary / Full Time We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join the Positive Futures Team, supporting children and young people aged 16-18 as they prepare for adulthood. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to work within a supportive, relationship-focused team that is committed to high-quality practice and achieving positive outcomes for young people. Working: Spend a significant proportion of your time engaging directly with children and young people in the community and at their placements. What You Will Do Direct Support: Provide consistent support and guidance to children and young people aged 16-18 as they prepare for adulthood. Relationship Building: Build meaningful and positive relationships with children and young people, ensuring their needs remain central to your practice. Case Management: Manage a caseload of approximately 15-17 children and young people while maintaining high-quality social work practice. Regular Visits: Complete regular visits to children and young people, including those placed outside the local area. Face-to-Face Engagement: Maintain regular face-to-face engagement with children and young people in the community and at their placements. Case Recording: Maintain timely, accurate and high-quality case records. Team Working: Attend duty days and team meetings as part of the hybrid working arrangement and
contribute effectively to team collaboration.
