Social Worker - Family Help Team

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a busy and supportive Family Help Team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced front-door service, supporting children and families through effective safeguarding and early intervention practices. The successful candidate will work within a CASS / MASH environment, assessing referrals, gathering information from partner agencies, and making informed decisions to ensure children and young people receive the appropriate level of support and protection.,

• Manage and assess incoming referrals relating to children and families.
• Work within a multi-agency safeguarding environment to support effective decision-making.
• Undertake assessments in line with statutory guidance and local procedures.
• Identify levels of risk and ensure timely interventions are implemented.
• Liaise closely with partner agencies including education, health, police, and support services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
• Participate in strategy discussions, planning meetings, and safeguarding processes where required.
• Deliver high-quality social work practice focused on positive outcomes for children and families.
  
  Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Previous experience working within Children's Services, ideally in a MASH, Front Door, or Assessment Team.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, child protection, and statutory responsibilities.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred.
