We are seeking Social Work and Care Lecturers to join our bank staff pool supporting New College Durham. This is a great opportunity for experienced Social Work and Care Lecturers or industry professionals with experience in Social Work and Health & Social Care education.
The Role
As a Social Work and Care Lecturer, you will support learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviours required for careers in social work and the wider health and social care sector.
- Delivering Social Work and Health & Social Care programmes
- Supporting learners to develop professional practice skills
- Preparing students for Higher Education and career progression
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback
- Creating an engaging and supportive learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Social Work, Health & Social Care, or related subject
- Professional experience within Social Work or the Care sector
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
