Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in local communities through practical social value delivery. Working across pre-construction and construction projects, you'll coordinate activities that create meaningful opportunities and lasting benefits. From skills and employment initiatives to education engagement and community volunteering, you'll help turn commitments into actions that truly matter. Working alongside the Social Value Manager, project teams and local partners, you'll build relationships, organise activities and support teams to achieve their social value goals.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Social Value Coordinator, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering social value activities across allocated projects. Your day to day will include:
-Coordinating and delivering education, careers, employability and community volunteering initiatives across projects
-Building and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges, employment services, charities and community groups
-Working with project teams and supply chain partners to identify local employment, apprenticeship and training opportunities
-Collecting and maintaining accurate social value data, updating reporting platforms and preparing progress reports
-Supporting bids and tenders by researching local needs, contributing delivery ideas and providing evidence of achievements
You have a practical understanding of social value and how employment, skills, education and volunteering can create positive outcomes
-You have experience organising or supporting activities, events or programmes involving participants and partners
-You have strong relationship-building skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and external organisations
-You have good organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities, manage deadlines and follow through on actions
-You're competent in capturing data, maintaining accurate records and preparing clear reports with attention to detail
