Join ONSIDE as a Social Prescribing Link Worker & Wellbeing Coach and work within an organisation and be part of team of professionals working with our NHS partners across Worcestershire (Evesham, Bredon, Broadway & Inkberrow) GP Practices to support local people to take greater control of their health and feel more empowered to look after themselves.

The role of Social Prescribing Link Worker will be for 18.5 hours per week. A Social Prescribing Link Worker works with individuals to understand what really matters to them and links them with non-medical support to address their needs in a holistic way. It is recognised that people's health is determined primarily by a range of social, economic and environmental factors and a Social Prescribing Link Worker aims to support people to address and deal with issues relating to these factors.

The role of Wellbeing Coach will be for 18.5 hours per week. A Wellbeing Coach provide coaching to individuals facing low level mental ill health. By using a range of evidence-based resources, a Wellbeing Coach supports individuals to improve their mental wellbeing, coping skills and confidence in either through one-to-one coaching sessions or group interventions.

To be a Social Prescribing Link Worker & Wellbeing Coach, we are looking for someone who is empathetic & person-centred, and really understand the complex social, practical, and emotional challenges people may be facing. Someone who has a respectful attitude together with an ability to easily create partnerships based on trust.

A Social Prescribing Link Worker will need to demonstrate that they can be resourceful, creative, and highly organised with the ability to respond to change, manage a varied workload and work independently.

A Wellbeing Coach will require experience working with individuals with low level mental ill health and have knowledge of evidence-based tools for developing coping skills and increasing confidence and understands person-centred approaches. They will also need to have sound judgement and reliability, as these are fundamental alongside a warm, friendly personality.
