Full Job Description
We're looking for a Social Housing Conveyancer to join our team in Newcastle. The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service to our clients in the processing of social housing disposals from receipt of instructions through to completion. What will I be doing You'll be acting for Registered Providers of Social Housing, dealing with work relating to social housing disposals from receipt of instructions to completion, including:
- Disposals of affordable dwellings (e.g. Right to Buy transactions, grant of shared ownership leases).
- Dealing with client's requirements on the re-sale of affordable dwellings.
- Lease extensions.
- Shared ownership lease staircasing transactions.
- Taking a proactive role in ensuring client timescales are met.
- Liaising with, and regularly updating, clients.
- File administration and management of your own files., Agencies - please note that we are not currently instructing agents to support with this role. Please do not send speculative CVs.
A good level of IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and case management systems. - The ability to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and client service skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
