Full Job Description

We're looking for a Social Housing Conveyancer to join our team in Newcastle. The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service to our clients in the processing of social housing disposals from receipt of instructions through to completion. What will I be doing You'll be acting for Registered Providers of Social Housing, dealing with work relating to social housing disposals from receipt of instructions to completion, including:

  • Disposals of affordable dwellings (e.g. Right to Buy transactions, grant of shared ownership leases).
  • Dealing with client's requirements on the re-sale of affordable dwellings.
  • Lease extensions.
  • Shared ownership lease staircasing transactions.
  • Taking a proactive role in ensuring client timescales are met.
  • Liaising with, and regularly updating, clients.
  • File administration and management of your own files., Agencies - please note that we are not currently instructing agents to support with this role. Please do not send speculative CVs.

    A good level of IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and case management systems.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone and client service skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail
