I need someone to look after me in my house or go out locally. I really enjoy going swimming, to soft play and outdoor playgrounds. I love going to Bowood House and Gardens but I need 1:1 support on all the adventure playground equipment.
I need someone who can encourage me with activities at home such as puzzles, games, arts and crafts and construction for short periods at a time. I will need help with feeding, toileting and keeping safe.

The role would involve a variety of taking care of Matthew 1:1 in the home or taking Matthew out to offer family respite as well as some days out with Mum and Brothers.

I'm a 10 year old boy with Down's Syndrome and Autism who lives with 2 brothers, Mum and Dad. I am non-verbal but I can use a bit of Makaton and PECS cards to communicate and have some understanding of verbal language. I'm happiest when I am active outside, riding my balance bike or playing at a playground. When I'm at home I like playing in the garden or playing indoors with my cars and watching my favourite tv programs on an iPad., I need someone who likes being physically active and who will go on the playground equipment with me to keep me safe. I'm fast on my bike and a fast runner so I will need someone who can keep up with me. Someone who doesn't have a fear of heights and likes swimming. Hours 8-10 hours (over 2 days) per week in school holidays (with possibility to increase hours and include some term time weekends)
Payrate £13 per hour
