Full Job Description
- Leading and supporting multi-agency domestic abuse responses, including prevention, safeguarding and perpetrator management.
- Contributing to countywide strategies, action plans and governance arrangements.
- Supporting compliance with relevant legislation, statutory guidance and evidence-based practice.
- Providing specialist advice, briefings and reports to senior leaders, elected members and partners.
- Strengthening alignment between community safety, safeguarding, public health and wider system partners., Providing specialist advice and support to Community Safety Partnerships.
- Leading and contributing to ASB problem-solving, prevention and case review arrangements.
- Supporting responses to hate crime and cohesion-related issues, including reassurance and prevention activity.
- Working with police, district and borough councils, housing providers, health partners and the voluntary sector to address NTE-related harm.
- Contributing to serious violence prevention and exploitation disruption through partnership planning and governance arrangements.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate: - Significant experience of delivering results through multi-agency partnership working in a community safety or related public-sector environment.
- Strong knowledge of community safety legislation and policy, including ASB, domestic abuse, youth justice, and drugs and alcohol.
- Excellent communication, report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to brief senior leaders and elected members.
- Experience of developing, delivering and monitoring strategies, action plans or projects.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing competing demands in a complex environment.
