  • Work on mission-critical airline engineering systems supporting global operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in complex, high-availability environments. Develop your expertise within a global organisation delivering industry-leading solutions.
  • The RoleAs an Engineering Systems SME, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining engineering systems within a 24x7 operational environment. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of MRO and engineering applications, while working closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams. You will play a key role in delivering production support, driving service improvements, and ensuring alignment with operational standards and service level expectations. Your responsibilities:
  • Support 24x7 operations of engineering systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Deliver production support in line with defined service levels and KPIs. Align closely with Engineering System and Application Support Managers. Manage incidents, service requests, and operational activities across engineering systems. Identify opportunities for service improvement and drive implementation of best practices. Maintain operational excellence through proactive monitoring and issue resolution. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimisation. Provide on-call support on a rota basis to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Work flexibly to support global operations and business requirements.
  • Your ProfileEssential skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Strong expertise in Engineering MRO systems, including platforms such as Trax. Proven airline experience with a solid understanding of engineering systems applications. Hands-on experience with Airbus and Boeing system administration. Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and experience delivering BAU support, including on-call responsibilities. Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and service management processes. Experience in Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Request Management. Strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing operational responsibilities. Attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across business and technology teams. Strong organisational skills with experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Airline domain expertise in aircraft engineering and maintenance. Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical engineering systems. Exposure to 24x7 operations and global support delivery models. Ability to drive service improvement initiatives within support functions.
