Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

We have an exiting opportunity for maternity cover within our skin cancer team. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work within our vast multi disciplinary team and also show initiative to manage their own caseload of patients for support with a skin cancer diagnosis. The successful candidate will be fully supported in this role and be expected to attend advanced communication course and work towards the ASCEND cancer nurse pathway of competencies There will be opportunities to work with our Plastic Surgeons and Dermatology Consultants. There will be regular liaison with our colleagues in Leeds and the wider WYATT groupMain duties of the job To support patients through diagnostics and treatment for skin cancer To support other CNS in the team with nurse led clinics and MDT's To work with Consultants to treatment plan and support clinics for our patients To work with wider team in cancer tracking and supporting conversations around diagnosis and regular support for patients and staff
