Skilled Worker

As a valued member of our team in Warrington, you'll be taking on a central role with responsibilities including:

• Offering support to service users from the point of entry into the service throughout their treatment journey.
• Conducting screening, assessment, and developing recovery plans with onward referrals.
• Minimising harm related to alcohol and non opiate use for both the individual and the wider community.
• Advocating access to partnership services.
• Collaborating with each individual to facilitate social (re)integration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives, emphasising recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
  
  Demonstrates a solid understanding of substance misuse issues and has experience in this or a related field.
• Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficient IT skills.
• Takes a proactive approach, working well independently with strong time management and ability to prioritise work.
• Holds a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
• Is a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Can successfully manage change while prioritising the needs of those who use our service.
• Actively seeks learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills, contributing to the learning and development of others.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support service users who misuse alcohol and non-opiate substances such as cannabis, cocaine, ketamine and a wide range of other substances. We are looking for someone with a good understanding and knowledgebase of alcohol & none opiate substance misuse and the challenges our service uses face. Pathways to Recovery has been delivering substance misuse treatment across the community of Warrington since 2007. The team are based in our busy Bold Street premises in central Warrington. We are looking for someone who is person centred, and solution focused to support service users to address multiple issues such as substance misuse, and mental health. We are looking for someone who shares our ambition and drive to combat the damage that drug and alcohol misuse can have on our community.

Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 depending on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time hours)
• Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours., A supportive and collaborative work environment.
