Job Title: Skilled Waiter / Hospitality Professional (UK Visa Sponsorship Available) Company: Bluebird Restaurant Location: Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England Pay: £37,000-£40,063 per year Overview We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, efficient, and high-quality service to all guests. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional manner
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards are consistently met
• Provide knowledgeable menu recommendations and actively upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Set up tables, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout service periods
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery
• Respond to guest enquiries and concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain a positive dining experience
• Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts as required
• Support colleagues during busy service periods to ensure efficient restaurant operations
Requirements
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is an advantage, but not essential (training will be provided)
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is desirable
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately for billing purposes
• Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality or kitchen environment is beneficial
• A genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Visa & Employment Contribution This position may be offered with visa sponsorship support, subject to eligibility and immigration regulations. The employee is required to contribute 34% of the total visa-related costs, in line with company policy and applicable legal requirements. Benefits
