Position: Skilled Operative/Groundworker

Location: Stowmarket

Type: Permanent, full time position (47.5 hours)

If you are not afraid of a hard day's graft and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this could be the role for you. If you have experience in manhole construction, concreting, block laying, kerbing, and all other aspects of installing deep drainage, then we want to hear from you. There will be heavy lifting and lots of physical work, so you will need to be willing to get stuck in!

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence


• Experience in manual, hands-on roles (e.g., drainage, groundworks, construction)


• Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS)


• The ability to help the team leader in solving problems and making decisions


• Confined Spaces - City and Guilds - Desirable


• EUSR SHEA (water - multi-utility as required) - Desirable


• SWQR Operative Certificate, SLG - Desirable


• Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 - Desirable
