Full Job Description
The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, including barred list information, as this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. As part of safer recruitment practices and in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), an online search will be completed for all shortlisted candidates. Safeguarding training is mandatory for all employees and will form part of your induction and ongoing CPD. The Estates Department at South Staffordshire College require a full time Sites Assistant at our Lichfield campus on a fixed term contract until 1^st May 2027. Main duties will include: ·
- Ensuring the prompt opening and securing of premises
The successful applicant will have general experience of maintenance work, be able to work well as part of a team and be effective at problem solving.
