Site Trainer

Join Pilgrim's Europe in Ashbourne as a Site Trainer and play a key role in supporting the training and development of our employees and agency operatives, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge, and competence to perform their roles successfully.,

• Deliver inductions for new employees, temporary workers, and agency operatives. Provide on-the-job and off-the-job training to develop employee skills and competence. Conduct refresher training and competency assessments in line with company requirements. Maintain accurate training records and ensure all activity is recorded within the LMS system. Audit employee competence against Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support managers with trainee reviews and identify any training-related concerns. Assist with updating training documentation and procedures when required. Promote a positive culture of training, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site. Ensure all training activities support Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Hygiene standards. Support training requirements across different departments and shifts as needed.
  
  Excellent communication and influencing skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Good numeracy and literacy skills. Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach. Experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is desirable. Previous training or auditing experience is advantageous.
