Full Job Description
The Dean Close Foundation is seeking friendly and professional Site Stewards to support the safe and efficient running of our busy campus during school activities, performances, sporting fixtures and commercial events. This is a zero-hour position, working primarily evenings and weekends.
As a Site Steward, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and smooth operation of the Dean Close Foundation campus during events and busy periods. You will welcome and direct visitors, support traffic and pedestrian management, assist with event operations, and help maintain high standards of safeguarding, safety and security, all while providing a professional and positive visitor experience.
We are looking for reliable and approachable individuals with strong customer service and communication skills, who can remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. Experience working within busy customer facing environments is essential, while experience in stewarding, security, event support or traffic management would be advantageous.
As part of the Dean Close Foundation, you would be joining an organisation driven by Christian values, that encourages all members of our community to live out our Foundation values of Love, Courage, and Contribution, enabling everyone to flourish. We seek colleagues who demonstrate compassion, collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking in their daily work.
Early applications are encouraged, and applicants may be invited to interview prior to the closing date. We encourage any applicants with the correct competencies to apply and if reasonable adjustments are needed to apply or undertake the role, please let us know.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
