As a SRE Engineer, within our National Security Business, you thrive on providing technical leadership; working closely and embedding with customers to maintain the operational integrity of mission critical services in a National Security environment. You're a SRE Engineer that provides technical leadership and is comfortable with high level responsibility. You won't be leading a team that delivers simple add-ons to multiple vendors; you'll be working directly with customers to provide ensure successful delivery of software rollouts that enable the nations safety. As our next SRE Engineer, you'll operate with customer availability as a priority; catching issues early and ensuring continued operational integrity of services that are strategically important to the nation. Whilst developing and deploying code, you'll ensure best DevOps / SRE practices are followed.

Java, Infrastructure, Python, Spring Boot, Gitlab, Communications, Javascript, Sensors, Docker, Ml, Fault Finding, Kubernetes, Web Services, Jenkins, Languages, Service Improvement,

• Willing to embed with customers in secure environments on a regular basis
• Experience of Web Services, Service Improvement, fault finding & problem solving.
• Experience operating in a SRE / DevOps environment, utilising pipeline tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab for CI/CD
• Experience deploying rollouts with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm or Docker
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code technologies (IaC) such as Ansible or Terraform
• A coding background which includes utilising languages such as Python, Javascript (React / Vue desirable) or Java and Spring Boot.
