Site Quantity Surveyor

WPS are seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to join our Planned Maintenance team covering the Brent and Ealing areas. You'll support the commercial delivery of social housing planned maintenance programmes, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably and in line with client expectations. This is a site-based role offering the opportunity to work across multiple live social housing projects, providing commercial oversight from project inception through to final account.Key Points About the Role

• Long-term opportunity within a growing division., As Site Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for ensuring the commercial success of planned maintenance projects, maintaining financial control while supporting effective project delivery.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing project costs and commercial reporting.
• Preparing and submitting valuations, applications and variations.
• Monitoring budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Procuring and managing subcontractor packages.
• Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor accounts.
• Supporting the preparation and negotiation of final accounts.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Working closely with site teams to ensure accurate cost capture and programme reporting.
• Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the delivery of projects in line with contractual and commercial requirements.
  
  Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, planned maintenance or refurbishment environments.
• Experience delivering projects within social housing, planned maintenance or occupied properties.
• Strong understanding of cost management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Experience managing subcontractor procurement and account administration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Experience working on kitchens and bathrooms, external planned works, decarbonisation programmes, retrofit schemes or other social housing maintenance frameworks would be advantageous.
