Site Nurse Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Site Nurse Practitioners team. This is a full-time fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. We are looking for a diverse, enthusiastic individual who likes the challenge of day to day operational activity of the trust. This job will involve patient flow, senior clinical support and site management., This role actively supports the patient's pathway through the hospital, both managerially and clinically. The four principle responsibilities of this team are:

o To facilitate the timely and appropriate clinical placement of patientso To provide clinical advanced nursing practice and decision making.o To operationally support and manage the hospital site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.o To provide clinical and professional support and leadership to the clinical areas as appropriate.

The focus of the team is to create seamless patient flow throughout the hospital sometimes in collaboration with outside agencies, identifying and troubleshooting problems early in order to ensure safe and timely patient flow within the RSCH.

We are looking for a highly clinical experienced nurse with management experience. The post holder will work rotational shifts covering day and night and must be fully flexible.
