Full Job Description
The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of all areas of Health and Safety and associated regulations. A clean driving licence, prior experience in a similar role and good computer skills are all essential. You will have responsibility for managing the school site, vehicles, 3 caretakers and cleaning team to complete all maintenance tasks, compliance checks, ensuring a safe, clean and well-maintained site at all times. This is an exciting time to join our school, you will have the opportunity be part of the transition from a PFI (private finance initiative) set up to a self-managed school over the next 22 months. This will involve working closely with the PFI company in the short term and the senior leadership team and local authority to establish new processes and procedures to ensure the continued smooth running of the school. Required to start as soon as possible, this is a full-time role working 37 hours a week on a shift rota for 52 weeks. The salary for this role is paid on the LGA Pay Scale SO1/2, scale 23-28. Full time salary £34,434 - £39,152 per annum (pay award pending). Occasional overtime may be required to oversee weekend lettings or premises works.
