Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, practical Site Manager who takes pride in a well-run site and knows how to get the best from a team.
Based at Claremont High School in Kenton, North West London, you will lead our site and cleaning teams and oversee the daily maintenance, security and presentation of a busy secondary school. Your work will help keep classrooms, grounds and facilities ready for learning, school events and community lettings.
You will bring sound maintenance skills, good organisation and the confidence to set standards, delegate work and follow things through. You will be comfortable tackling minor repairs, planning preventative maintenance and coordinating contractors, with the judgement to recognise when specialist support is needed. Experience in a school would be welcome, and we also encourage applications from people with relevant facilities or premises management experience in other sectors.
Reporting to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer and working closely with our Health and Safety Lead, you will have scope to organise the service, develop your team and recommend practical improvements.
In return, you will join a welcoming school community that values high standards, respect and teamwork. As part of Chrysalis Multi Academy Trust, we invest in our staff through a comprehensive induction, ongoing continuing professional development and opportunities to build practical and leadership skills relevant to your role. You will have support to develop your expertise and help your team grow.
We also recognise the importance of enjoying working life. Regular staff social events provide opportunities to get to know colleagues across the school, alongside access to staff fitness facilities and confidential advice and counselling support. Benefits also include pension membership and free onsite parking.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering the variety of practical work and team leadership, with the satisfaction of seeing the difference you make to the school each day.
