Site Manager

We are seeking a proactive and reliable School Site Manager to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our school buildings, grounds, and facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant, creating a secure and positive environment for pupils, staff, and visitors., Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance (basic carpentry, plumbing, painting).
- Conduct routine inspections and respond promptly to maintenance issues.
- Support health and safety compliance, including fire safety and water hygiene checks.
- Maintain external areas such as playgrounds, paths, and car parks.
- Assist with site security, opening/closing procedures, and emergency responses.
- Log completed works and assist with audits and inspections.
- Provide support for school activities and liaise courteously with staff, pupils, and visitors.

Practical experience in building maintenance, caretaking, or facilities work.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to carry out minor repairs safely and competently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexible, trustworthy, and child-focused approach.

Desirable:

- Experience in a school or education setting.
- Basic trade qualifications or NVQs.
- Familiarity with fire safety and water hygiene procedures.

Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence (if multi-site).
- Willingness to undergo DBS checks.
- Basic IT skills for logging jobs and emails.
