Site Manager - Healthcare Construction ProjectsOffice Location: Halifax, West YorkshireProject Locations: NationwideSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + BonusSector: Healthcare ConstructionCompany Turnover: c. £30mProject Values: Typically £100k - £5m, with larger schemes up to £8mOverviewA specialist Design & Build contractor operating within the healthcare sector is seeking a Site Manager to join its growing delivery team.With a turnover of approximately £30m, the business delivers specialist healthcare facilities for NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers across the UK. Projects range from refurbishment and extension works through to complex new-build developments designed to accommodate specialist medical equipment and clinical environments.Due to a growing pipeline of secured work, the company is looking to appoint a Site Manager to oversee projects from site mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within
budget, and to the highest quality standards.Current projects include two major healthcare developments in Leeds and Derby valued between £6m and £7m, involving the construction of specialist facilities to house MRI and X-ray equipment. These schemes include significant structural elements, reinforced concrete construction and specialist installation requirements.The successful candidate will be willing to work away from home as required and will join a business offering long-term career prospects within a specialist and expanding sector.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from site setup through to practical completionOversee day-to-day site operations and coordinate all site activitiesManage subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour on siteEnsure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to specificationMonitor progress against programme and report updates to senior managementMaintain high standards of quality throughout the construction processCoordinate project activities with

clients, consultants and subcontractorsEnsure all Health & Safety procedures, inspections and site documentation are maintainedManage project logistics, sequencing of works and site resourcesAttend and lead site meetings as requiredSupport successful project handover and client satisfactionCandidate RequirementsProven experience as a Site Manager working for a Main ContractorExperience delivering construction projects from inception through to completionComfortable managing projects valued at £5m+Strong understanding of programme management, subcontractor coordination and project deliveryExcellent communication and leadership skillsClient-facing and commercially awareWilling to work away from home on nationwide projects when requiredBased within approximately two hours of HalifaxQualificationsSMSTSCSCS CardFirst Aid at WorkFull UK Driving LicencePackageBonus scheme tyypically around 10% of salary, paid twice yearly28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysLocation: Halifax | Salary: £50000
