Site Manager

As a Site Manager, you'll take ownership of a wide range of highway works, including footpath reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, surface treatments, drainage improvements, traffic signals, and structural repairs. Delivering these schemes on live public highways requires strong organisation, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to leadership. Your day-to-day will include:

• Promoting and maintaining a positive health and safety culture in line with Kier procedures
• Ensuring all site activities comply with Chapter 8 and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
• Interpreting scheme drawings, specifications, and cost information in line with NEC4 contract requirements
• Monitoring quality to ensure works meet inspection and testing plans, scheme designs, and current specifications
• Managing NEC4 change control processes, including early warnings and compensation events

• HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience working with NEC contracts
• NRSWA Supervisor certification
• 12D Traffic Management and SMSTS qualifications
• A full UK driving licence (essential for this site-based role)
