Job Title: Site Manager
Contract: Permanent
Type of Employment: Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate of pay: £16.79 per hour
Location: Featherstone Primary School, Wester Road, Southall, Greater London, England, UB2 5JT
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to supervise all site-based operatives and oversee all aspects of their work, making sure they are undertaken within the current codes of practise to a high standard.
You shall be overseeing operatives and their work, carrying out safety inductions, tool box talks, controlling quality of work and ensuring method statement/Risk Assessments are completed. You will make sure all materials used, including those by sub-contractors, are compliant with technical and quality specifications, kept clean and tidy while upkeeping the plant and facilities while maintaining accurate records of all work carried out.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of the CDM regulations and must obtain/have a SMSTS Certificate. Substantial experience of the full life cycle of several Construction projects, involving the supervision of the project and staff/operatives working on it is highly desirable.
You should have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively. Being able to drive projects forwards and expect a good standard of work is essential, overcoming barriers and solving problems along the way efficiently and effectively. A strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability is essential.
