Full Job Description
Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey within an educational community that values increasing opportunities, improving outcomes for our students. We are looking for a Site Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher you will undertake,
- Lead health and safety on site, ensuring compliance and maintaining risk assessments.
- Coordinate statutory inspections (fire, asbestos, water hygiene, gas, electrical).
- Operate and maintain security systems, act as emergency key holder, and respond to incidents.
- Oversee plant, equipment, utilities, and vehicles, including minibus operation.
- Supervise cleaning teams, manage supplies, and maintain grounds.
- Undertake or supervise repairs, maintenance, and decoration.
- Manage contractors and site projects, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Maintain records, manage stock, and handle deliveries and porterage.
- Support school lettings and functions, ensuring spaces are prepared.
- Promote pupil welfare, uphold equality and confidentiality, and support practical learning opportunities.
- Adapt to changing demands and undertake other duties as required.
