Job Description

Astute's Power team are looking to recruit a Site Completion Engineer on an Energy from Waste Project in Essex on a long-term contract.

Key Skills

• Participating in construction final inspections (FIS) with the construction team.


• Coordinating potential design modification with the Project Engineering Manager.


• Preparing and reporting progress on Turnover Packages (TOP).


• Coordinating piping support inspections and ATEX inspections with engineering, suppliers, and third-party certifiers.


• Ensuring accurate as-built P&IDs are provided, collected, and transferred back to the Project Engineering Manager.


• Actively promoting compliance with project HSEQ requirements across the team.


• Must have 5+ years' experience within construction on a large-scale industrial plant as a commissioning lead engineer.


• Must have experience on Energy from Waste (EFW) plants and process/operation knowledge of thermal plants.


• Strong understanding of P&ID's, isometrics, construction drawings, and industrial process systems.

Location, Remuneration, and Timeframe

• Location: Essex


• Long-term contract


• Circa £700.00 per day (DOE)


• Outside IR35
