Full Job Description
We are looking for a practical, reliable and enthusiastic Site Assistant to join our friendly site team at St Clare's School, a vibrant special school. Our school buildings and grounds are very busy and well used, so we need someone who is able to carry out caretaking, security, routine and reactive maintenance, repairs, decorating, with a broad range of trade and handyperson skills to keep the site safe, functional and welcoming. You will report to the Site Manager. There will be a requirement to support Derby Pride Academy, Pride Park, Derby when required.
Grade/Scale: Derby City Council Support Pay Scale - Grade E (Points 10-14)
Actual salary: £24,742 - £26,389 Per Annum (for 32 hours per week)
Contract: 25-32 hours per week, all year round (Part time hours and flexible days could be considered for the right candidate)
Core hours of work: Maximum hours would be Monday - Thursday 11:30am - 18:30pm and Friday 11:30am - 17:30pm. Hours can be during the day in school holidays., LGPS Pension Scheme (16.6% employer contributions)
