At Ringway, our Site Agents play a vital role in keeping local highway networks safe, resilient and fit for the future. As a Site Agent, you will take ownership of delivering highway and structures works on site, leading teams with confidence and care while working closely with clients and partners. This is a hands-on leadership role where your experience will directly shape how projects are delivered safely, sustainably and to a high standard. You will be supported by a wider operational team and encouraged to bring ideas, challenge constructively and develop your career with Ringway.,

  • Take responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of highway or structures schemes on site
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials to achieve agreed programmes
  • Ensure works are delivered to the required quality, cost and environmental standards
  • Act as the main on-site point of contact for clients, designers and stakeholders
  • Promote a positive, inclusive and proactive safety culture on site
  • Support commercial controls through accurate records, early warnings and good cost awareness
  • Ensure compliance with Ringway processes, NEC contracts and statutory requirements
  • Mentor and support colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment

    Proven experience in a Site Agent or similar site leadership role within highways or structures
  • Strong understanding of health, safety and wellbeing requirements within construction
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise works in a live highway environment
  • Confident communicator who can build trust with clients, teams and supply chain partners
  • Sound knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial awareness on site
  • Technical understanding of highway or structures construction and maintenance
  • A proactive and solutions focused approach to challenges on site
