To support and work with junior and senior colleagues to provide the best quality safest care on the ward. You will be expected to carry out leadership tasks such as return to work interviews, sickness monitoring, new starter paperwork and shift management. To take charge of the clinical area, dealing with & escalating any concerns with regards to staff or patient safety To take responsibility for the assessments of the care needs; the development, implementation and evaluation of care to ensure the highest possible standards of care are received by patients. To supervise and teach other nursing and non-nursing staff, acting as an excellent clinical role model and team leader to ensure quality care is delivered to the patients.
