We have great opportunities to support you in developing your acute and emergency nursing knowledge and skills, as part of the nursing team in South Yorkshire's Major Trauma Centre., Develop and provide specialised programs of nursing care to a diverse range of patients and support to staff in the Emergency Department.

Lead a team of qualified, support and student team members.

Take charge of the Department and all Clinical Areas of the Department.

Support the Senior Sister / Senior Charge Nurse in ensuring the highest standard and quality of nursing care is delivered and managing a team of staff.

One post is permanent and one post is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period until Jan 2028 due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts and statutory maternity provisions.

Please note all existing NHS staff will only be considered on a secondment basis. This must first be agreed with your current line manager.
