Sister / Charge Nurse

Work as part of a team both on the ward as a band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse, but also with other multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of service Co-ordinate the ward to maintain flow and the patients journey Assess the care needs of the patients and their families. To support the team to develop, implement & evaluate the care to a high standard, whilst demonstrating a compassionate nature and maintaining patients dignity Participate as a skilled member of the multi-disciplinary team Act as clinical advisor on nursing issues to ensure a high-standard of care is maintained utilising evidence-based practice Participate in direct care and to facilitate sound discharge planning, Full Vacancy details can be found on the attached Job Description/Person Specification. • Evidence of continual professional development
