Full Job Description
We are looking for a senior sister/charge nurse who will lead the team with compassionate leadership and effective management to support the team to deliver high quality care to our elderly patients.
Ideally candidates will have experience of working within an elderly care ward and managing the challenges of a busy ward and experience of liaising with the wider MDT team and facilitating and leading improvement to enhance patient experience and staff wellbeing.
If you have the experience we are looking for and are keen to further develop your leadership and management skills within a supportive and committed team then Combe ward is an excellent place for you to continue your nursing career., The Senior Sister/Charge Nurse holds overall accountability for the delivery and management of safe, high-quality care across the ward on a 24-hour basis. This includes responsibility for the supervision, development, and support of nursing staff and students within the clinical area.
Working in a predominantly supervisory role, you will provide strong leadership and effectively manage team performance to enhance the patient experience and improve clinical outcomes. You also contribute to key organisational priorities, including improving patient flow, reducing sickness absence, and ensuring the safe and efficient deployment of the nursing workforce.
As a visible clinical leader, you will act as an exemplar role model, consistently demonstrating professionalism, care, and compassion while maintaining high standards of nursing practice at all times.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, motivated and passionate individual to join the team on Combe Ward.
