Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Simulation Technician to work as a member of the Medical Education Team at the Bedford site, to support the delivery and growth of Simulation Based Education (SBE)., The role demands a high level of technical, administrative and communication skills that will support all aspects of Simulation. The post holder will ensure the maintenance of the simulation suite and clinical skills room is upheld. There is a requirement to operate the computer and audio/video (A/V) technology, including all manikins and simulation suite equipment and to also help set up and take down manikins and clinical skills equipment for specific training sessions. The post holder will have responsibility for the preparation of the training environments, managing equipment stock levels, maintaining equipment and ensuring resources are available for all training programmes. The post holder will also assist in the provision of audio-visual and other learning resources, in the clinical skills, simulation and educational environments. This position involves working closely with the Simulation Lead and Simulation Faculty to provide a safe, well equipped skills training environment.
