Simulation Software Engineer - Fully remote C++ | HPC | Distributed Systems | CI/CD | Software Architecture | Performance Optimisation | Build Systems We're working with a pioneering motorsport technology provider that's transforming how top-tier race teams unlock vehicle performance. Their advanced simulation tools are used at the highest levels of the sport - including Formula E, IndyCar, WEC, and Formula 1. We are seeking a Simulation Software Engineer to help design, develop and optimise high-performance their software used in complex motorsport engineering environments. This role would suit a motivated software engineer with a background in C++ development, high-performance computing (HPC), simulation, real-time systems, gaming technology, control systems, or scientific software. You will play a key role in shaping software architecture, improving performance and reliability, and driving engineering best practice across the development lifecycle. What You'll Be Doing, Rust, Zig, containerisation, cross-platform deployment or low-level performance tuning would be advantageous.Desirable Backgrounds We are particularly interested in candidates from: High-performance computing Simulation and modelling software Video game or graphics engine development Real-time systems Control systems engineering Scientific or engineering software development Previous experience leading projects, owning technical systems, or mentoring engineers would be beneficial.
