About the roleAs a Shrink Compliance Hub Operator within the Security Operations Centre, you will play a vital role in helping keep our stores, customers and colleagues safe. Using CCTV, data and intelligence, you will identify suspicious activity, assess security risks and support investigations to minimise loss and protect the business. Working as part of a fast-paced and collaborative team, you will review incidents, build evidence-based case files and work closely with store teams, field security teams and key stakeholders to ensure the right actions are taken. You'll combine strong analytical skills with sound judgement to identify trends, investigate issues and support the delivery of effective security solutions. You'll play an important role in driving continuous improvement, supporting operational excellence and helping Tesco create a safe and secure environment for colleagues and customers every day.You will be responsible for
- Monitoring CCTV and reviewing intelligence, data and incident information to identify suspicious activity, risks and potential losses across our stores. Conducting initial triage of incidents and security risks, ensuring the appropriate response is coordinated with relevant stakeholders. Producing high-quality case files by analysing CCTV footage, reports and supporting evidence to support investigations and decision-making. Working closely with store teams, field security teams and business stakeholders to gather information, provide insights and support investigations. Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis, helping to drive improvements across security and loss prevention activities. Managing a varied workload effectively to ensure priorities are met and deadlines are achieved. Communicating clearly and confidently with colleagues at all levels, building trusted relationships and providing expert support where required.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and deliver better outcomes for customers, colleagues and the business. Ensuring all data, evidence and case files are handled securely and confidentially, in line with information security and compliance requirements. Supporting a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes, sharing knowledge and contributing to the ongoing success of the Security Operations Centre. Acting with integrity and professionalism at all times while helping to keep our stores, colleagues and customers safe.You will need Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review CCTV footage, reports and data to identify security risks and suspicious activity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess information, identify trends and make informed decisions. Experience interpreting data
and intelligence to support investigations and build comprehensive case files. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and build relationships with store teams, field teams and key business stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to resolve issues and drive positive outcomes. Strong planning and workload management skills, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism at all times. Experience using Microsoft Office applications and working with reporting systems and operational data. A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with the confidence to challenge processes and identify opportunities to improve how we work. The, ability to
